What is the GA bill of sale?
Georgia bill of sale is a document that certifies that personal property has been sold and a transaction has been done between two parties. The buyer and the seller are involved parties in such a document. Sometimes bill of sale needs to have a public notary stamp on it. Even if it is not an absolute, legal requirement, it is always a good idea to get one, because public notary involvement will confirm the identification of the engaged parties before the signature of the document.
The most frequently used bills of sale in the state of Georgia are:
- General form of bill of sale
- Bill of sale for a motor vehicle
- Bill of sale for a boat
